Turquoise and silver woven cubes strand necklace (N0033)

The necklace is composed of 3 strands of small rounded pieces of light blue natural turquoise and in front three hand woven silver cubes, typical of Thai Karen hill-tribe people. It closes with a triangular silver toggle hook.

Turquoise is one of the oldest protection amulets, and was also known as a symbol of wealth and nobility in many ancient cultures.
