Round turquoise and silver beads necklace (N0063)

This handmade necklace is composed of a single string of small rounded turquoise beads and silver sand-grain beads. It closes with a silver toggle hook, decorated with tiny “Podduang” pattern, typical of Thai Karen hill-tribe people.
Turquoise is one of the oldest protection amulets, and was also known as a symbol of wealth and nobility in many ancient cultures.
