The earrings are shaped as pagoda (or “chedi” as it is called in Thailand) and are handmade in 95% pure silver. They can be worn in two ways: as dangle earrings or as simple button-shape studs, as the separate dangle part can be simply added to the stud post (or not). In this way you can have two styles of earrings, in one piece!
There is also an open silver bangle with hanging pagoda pendants in the same collection.
Chedi shape earrings is a part of our “Genesis” collection that explores the process of mindfulness, dedication and perseverance behind each product. All our jewelry is crafted entirely by hand by the Thai Karen hill tribe people who are known for their traditional silversmithing skills. We would like to transmit these ideas to whoever will be wearing our jewelry as a reminder of conscientiousness during their everyday activities. We believe that jewelry created in this way does more than just “look good”, it also “does good” and gives back to the whole community, as the sales help preserve and keep alive the traditional arts and crafts.
