The bracelet is made in classical fox-tail technique, while the pendant consists of three donut-shape silver beads on silver cone, that move and spin freely. The shape of the bead is inspired by the chedi, a feature of buddhist temples around SE Asia.
There is a matching lariat style necklace as well in the same collection.
This bracelet is a part of our “Genesis” collection that explores the process of mindfulness, dedication and perseverance behind each product. We would like to transmit these ideas to whoever will be wearing our jewelry as a reminder of conscientiousness during their everyday activities. We believe that jewelry created in this way does more than just “look good”, it also “does good” and gives back to the whole community, as the sales help preserve and keep alive the traditional arts and crafts.
Karen people have been traditionally connected with silver crafting and are known for their traditional techniques and very pure silver alloy (content of silver is between 95-98%, as opposed to industrial 92.5% silver content), that gives this silver a weight, bright satin color and feel, all of its own. Due to its purity, it is also very resistant to tarnishing. Every piece is handmade and individual.
