This bracelet is part of our ROOTS collection, that explores connections between our design inspiration and heritage input that comes from Thai Karen hill-tribe silversmiths that we collaborate with.
The fox-chain style bracelet is made in 92.5 silver, that closes with sterling silver simple style hook. The beads are rolled from a thick hammered and textured silver sheet – we used 95% pure silver to make those. We made two variations for this bracelet: one of the beads can be slightly oxidized or gold-coated to create contrast with the other bead and the bright silver chain.
Our products are hand crafted in 98% Silver by Thai Karen hill-tribe artisans.
The Karen are a group of ethnic peoples who reside primarily in southern and southeastern Burma and in northern and north-eastern Thailand. Thai and Burmese hill tribes can be traced back to the 12th century when they are said to have originated from Tibet.
With a higher silver content than sterling silver, Karen silver has a weight, bright satin color and feel, all of its own. Every piece is handmade and individual.
The product comes with traditional Thai packaging and includes tracking number for safer shipping.
